Drawing from his 50 years as a nature photographer, Jim will offer tips and techniques to further enhance your nature photography. This is a rapid-paced first session, so fasten your seatbelt and be ready to add a few more tools to your photography toolbox. (More sessions to follow in the coming months!)
About Nature Photographer Jim Clark:
A past president of the North American Nature Photography Association, Jim Clark has also been the nature photography instructor for the Chincoteague Bay Field Station, Wallops Island, Virginia and a columnist for Virginia Wildlife magazine. He has been a former contributing editor for Outdoor Photographer magazine. The author/photographer of seven books and hundreds of magazine articles, Jim is particularly proud of two children’s books he did with his son, who was ten at the time. Jim is the recipient of the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award from the North American Nature Photography Association.

This talk and demo will include plant suggestions for a variety of settings. We’ll have plants on hand to take a look at, along with photos of mature plants in native garden settings. Then you can look around at what the nurseries have available. If you have boxes for carrying your plants, please bring them. If you have extra boxes, bring them for others to use.
